METERS ARE READ AND BILLED ON A QUARTERLY BASIS
Meters are read in January, April, July, and October. Please make sure gates are unlocked and dogs are secured. Bills are mailed out quarterly on February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. Our fiscal year ends the last day of February.
ANY UNPAID WATER/SEWER WILL BE PROCESSED IN JANUARY TO SHOW AS A RELEVY ON YOUR VILLAGE TAXES.
If you would like to receive your Water/Sewer bill by e-mail, please call 845.496.1034 and ask for Christopher Martino. Provide your e-mail address and your next billing will be received through your e-mail.
If you have any water meter issues that you feel need to be reviewed or repaired, please e-mail email@example.com.
If you are moving you need to call 845.496.1034 with a final reading from your meter. A final bill will be created and provided to you immediately via fax or e-mail to go to closing. You should make every attempt to have the final read on your meter as close to the closing date as possible.
We have installed a new utility billing software program that will reduce the cost of billing and provide new features that will benefit all users.
We can now provide a link to view and print your utility bill online. It is a safe secure service that encrypts the utility bill until you enter your user name and password. This saves both postage and the utility cost of billing materials.
As an added feature, you can opt to pay your bill online with a credit card or by e-check. There is a small service fee; this service fee in most cases would be less than a late fee or other charges you could incur if your payment was delayed.
The service fee is accessed at $3.00 per $100.00 utility bill.
